Purchase sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) attributes

Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) describes jet fuel derived from renewable resources. SAF is a drop-in fuel, meaning when blended with conventional jet fuel to industry standards, it can be substituted in current aircraft engines without modifications. This substitution can provide a lifecycle emissions reduction of up to 85% compared to the traditional jet fuel it replaces.

Earn Loyalty Points and AAdvantage® miles

Making a SAF contribution is a great way to earn Loyalty Points and AAdvantage® miles without traveling, and it could be the boost you need to level up your status. A contribution of $10 will earn 10 Loyalty Points and 100 AAdvantage® miles.

Pay for your SAF contribution using AAdvantage® miles

AAdvantage® miles can be used to reduce the cash value in part or in full for your SAF contribution.
